Motion Blur Assignment

Assignment Details:
For this assignment, we took pictures of Mr. O'Donnell as he drove past us on his motorcycle. I tried to create a background blur by following him with my camera when he past. By dragging the camera, I was able to make Mr. O'Donnell clear and visible and the background blurred to show that he was moving.

Portrait Demo Assignment

Assignment Details:
In this assignment, I took photos using different techniques to get rid of shadows.  On technique was to use studio equipment to create fill lights, hair lights and key lights.  Another technique was to use a window and piece of poster paper to reflect light on the subject.  This second technique is known as the cheap version of the first.

Photo Assignment: Two

Assignment Description:
For this assignment I choose to shoot photos of animals.  I had a little trouble with shooting these photos.  At first, I took photos of birds at the bird feeders in my backyard, but they always came out blurry and not very good.  Then, I had the idea of taking photos of my dog.  This was also difficult because he would get excited and knock me over.  I think that overall I was able to get a few nice photos.

Photo Assignment: One

Assignment Description:

I chose to shoot pictures of Nature for this assignment.  These pictures were taken by my house and in a nearby pond.  The only problems I had while taking these photos was the weather.  It was very cloudy so I had to wait for the sun to show before I could take a photo.  This was very annoying, but I think that it added cool extra effects to some photos.

Digital Photography Assignment: One

Nature:
I am choosing to take pictures of Nature for my first assignment.  I chose this as my first subject because those are my favorite types of photos to capture.  I will be taking pictures around the school and my house to show  this subject.  I will use lighting to help bring out the texture of the nature better.

What I Learned:
